Teach your child about respect and appreciation: moral story Granny’s hands

Entertaining story for children on moral education. Wisdom and innovative approach on how to teach children about respect and appreciation. This is a story of educational project Kind Book

‘Today I’m giving you some unusual homework,’ the teacher said. ‘Tomorrow’s you must get up early and write down everything that your granny’s hands do during the day. Then draw a picture of them.’

On Saturday morning, Nicky asked her granny to put her hands on a sheet of paper so she could draw round them. Granny’s hands were old and wrinkled. Nicky looked at her own slim, pink fingers and thought to herself:

I Know He Wants To Leave, But Why?

The guys were asked to state why they would leave their girlfriends. The common theme that came out of their responses was boredom and routine. The excitement had faded and the spontaneity was gone. Why did this happen and could they have done anything about it? I asked this question to our panel of guys to see if they had any wisdom that would enlighten us. Here’s a summary of what they said.

The Prosperity Prayer

Be grateful for what you have and stop worrying about money. Abundance will follow.

A few years ago I wrote a prayer that’s been circulating through the Internet for five plus years. I called it “The Prosperity Prayer,” and I’ve received countless notes and letters from all over the globe about its effectiveness. One thing everyone likes is the instant payoff when you read it to yourself, you’ll feel better right away!

The Prosperity Prayer

Dear God -

I surrender my financial affairs and concerns about money to your Divine care and love.

Seeing The Nature Of Reality Through Buddhist Meditation

The perennial philosophy “nondual” spiritual traditions (such as Nisargadatta’s Vedanta, and Tibetan Buddhism’s Dzogchen) hold that existence involves a monistic, enduring, unchanging, absolute reality and a dualistic, ephemeral, constantly-changing relative reality. Through the practices that I describe in my book Toward Wisdom, I too have come to see that this is the way it is. Describing the situation in words has always been tricky, but I found that certain “information age” concepts clarify the situation.

Knowledge Reward

Knowledge is something that is not always easy to come by. We as humans start out with, a learning attitude; we put in the time, and effort, with the hope of fruitful results. We read books, newspapers, go to lectures, watch the tube, search the Internet.
