Why What Was So Exceedingly Good Went So Terribly Wrong
In the authoritative and authentic record of Creation in Genesis, at the end of the second chapter, we learn and understand that what God had created and made was good and very good - exceedingly good.
Man is placed in a perfect environment. There is no sin - no disease - no death - no pain - no corruption - no pollution. There is no struggle for survival. The written text gives no hint or suggestion of that which is quite different from what is taught in the various theories of evolution.
Money Talks
Jesus Christ spoke about money frequently.
In fact Jesus referred to money more than any other one subject. Jesus said a lot about money. Why?
Well, money says a lot about us, and plays an important part in our lives. Money talks.
It may surprise people to discover that we have more from the lips of Jesus concerning money, than prayer!
Jesus would challenge people regarding how they used their money.
One day we will all have no money. Once our life on earth is over, we will not possess a single penny. The thought of that might alarm some folks. After we die we will be penniless. That is what Jesus Christ teaches.
Teach The Children
Another spiritual matter drawn to my attention is certainly highly relevant for these present times in which we are living. Following the days of Moses and Joshua something really sad happened. The people rebelled against God and His Word and His ways.
Now, the main reason for rebellion is sin, but the Bible gives us some interesting specific insights as to what went wrong at that particular period in the peoples’ lives.
This should be a warning to every family.
