The person telling you about the service might be making money, not by completing the surveys, but by promoting the company. Every time someone buys through their affiliate link, they earn a commission, so they are not going to tell you how bad things are, because then you won’t subscribe.

You may or may not be paid to complete surveys. Some pay you with goods, and other companies will put you into their prize draw and you might win a prize.

Signing up for these companies can be a time consuming process and you will find that there are no guarantees that you will be accepted. You could spend many hours and the end result is zero income.

One thing that is certain, you will spend money getting a list of companies who offer paid online surveys. You will spend time applying to these companies, and you have no guarantee of any income for all your hard work.

You might decide to become an affiliate of the company you paid your money to. You might get your money back by signing up a lot of people, but do you want to sign them up knowing that the possibility of them earning an income is zero as well.

Can you imagine paying your hard earned dollars to a company, and then you spend the next hour completing their form. You hit submit and wait for them to send you all these surveys which are going to make you rich. You wait, and wait, and nothing arrives in your inbox. You then read the rules because you didn’t in the beginning, and you find that they have strict rules about the person they want to complete the survey.

Maybe you need to be a certain age, have a certain number of children, live in a certain place, watch certain television, shop in a certain store, and unless you do all of them you do not qualify. You have wasted your money, but there are no refunds.
