The landing page also known as the “squeeze page” or “lead capture page”, you can build a huge mailing list by directing all of your opt-in subscribers through the creation of a squeeze page. The leads that have opted to give you their information freely you will not get any spam complaints. You are building a list of people that want your information and your conversions should be good.
Here are tips in creating a successful capture page that converts visitors into sales and signups on a very large percentage.
Tip 1:
Offer a free download in exchange for your visitor’s email address. There is plenty of software out there that gives you unlimited resell rights. Give away something with value and they will give you their email address.
Tip 2:
The capture page must be written with good ad copy. When writing your page, act as if you are writing a sales letter. Make the page short and sweet. Make sure you don’t give so information much away. Curiosity killed the cat. So the more curious you write it the more they want to opt in and find out what your offer is.
Tip 3:
Don’t use and opt-in form and put your website on the same page. That makes the capture page useless. The only reason they want to fill out the form is to get to your webpage. The ad copy and form should be all they see. Do not put any website url or your name and phone number.
Tip 4: Remember the only goal of this page is to get the person to opt-in. Your not even trying to sell them at this point. The only thing your selling them on is the reason to opt-in. The rest of the selling will come from your website and autoresponder series. Tip 5: Make sure you get a good autoresponder and test your squeeze page before you launch it. Test to be sure after a person opts in that they are taken to your website. Then check your email to make sure you got the first follow up letter. If everything worked properly it’s now time to market it. Now you know the basics of a good squeeze page. If you follow the above tips you should have no problem getting people to use it. Now you know this you just need to learn how to market it.
