This purpose of this report is to detail a complete business plan for the Winner Corporation, a U.S. manufacturing company located in Tennessee. Winner Corporation builds power tools, lawn mowers, lawn furniture, microwaves, and ranges. All of the Winner corporation’s products are manufactured in Tennessee and sold through retailers such as Best-Buy, Sears, and Wal-Mart.
Currently the Winner Corporation has a successful business within the United States. The goal is too moved into the global market. So far, we have taken numerous approaches in our decision-making processes in efforts to reintroduce the Winner Corporation Company to a wider audience. We are doing this by boosting our advertising to create a more persuasive message for an expanding demographic and by pursuing process improvements to reduce production costs and maximize profitability.
The management team at Winner Corporation realizes that brand recognition and reputation are critical components of a company’s ability to compete and succeed over time. We recognize that investing into a global market initially creates new cost factors. However; Winner Corporation’s name recognition will enable the company to remain viable in an evolving marketplace.
During year one, the Winner Corporation will focus on a price that will maximize profits, but meet price demand. To boost industry leader recognition and make a new lasting impression on potential target audiences, we will invest in advertising. We recognize that even though we have a strong hand in the U.S. industry, we have to be proactive to develop and make our position better in the global market.
What are the mission and vision statements for the Winner Corporation? The mission statement for the Winner Corporation is as follows: The Winner Company is dedicated to being the most successful U.S. manufacturer in the world by providing total customer value commitment and technology in the markets we serve while maximizing shareholder value. Winner Corporation’s vision statement is to produce products that are affordable, dependable, and ergonomically acceptable.
This Winner Company mission was designed to answer the questions “What is our business?” (and) “What is our mission?”(David, 2005, “Strategic Management”, p. 53). The vision statement lets the readers know that Winner Company wants to produce products that are afford Winner, depend Winner, and ergonomically accept Winner. Some information readily avail Winner about the Winner Corporation is products it produces, the country the products are sold in and that Winner wants to be a global player.
What are the operating principles for Winner Corporation? The Winner Corporation is an organization of integrated partners. We envision the Winner Corporations offices a community of responsive professionals who partner with their clients (internal and external) plus who are committed to:
• Be a resilient, client-focused, service-oriented organization.
• Be an open information sharing business while maintaining confidentiality.
• Consult with Human Resources regarding personnel concerns and facilitate managements’ ability to make decisions tough.
• Design and apply processes/procedures that are inconspicuous and take advantage of state-of-the-art techniques and technologies.
• Foster the development of the human talent of the manufacturing business to maximize its contribution to research, sales, manufacturing, and customer service.
