Four Reasons You Do Not Know How To Win At Internet Poker

You still do not know how to win at internet poker? I hope you are not donating your hard earned money at the internet poker tables to sharks like me. We feast on players like you and are really grateful you decide to play online. But, did you know your mistakes can be limited and you can become one of the sharks like me.

Here are four reasons you are donating your money at the tables.

  1. You are playing the wrongs hands out of position. You cannot simply play boring book poker and expect to be successful. You need to mix up your play and employ a wide array of hands. Stick to this rule, tight hands up front and play looser hands the later position you have. There are two decks in each deck of cards. The big cards and little cards, make sure you are playing both ends of the deck.

  2. Stop calling all the time. Calling stations are losing players. Raise your hands and re-raise loose players pre-flop. Stop calling everyone’s raises. I see this all the time. Player C raises and Player F calls with QQ, the flop contains an Ace and the Player F immediately folds to the flop bet. He folded one of the few big hands and lost this one pre flop. A reraise pre-flop would of found out where his QQ stood. Raising is the way to win at internet poker.

  3. Quit player your blinds with garbage hands. The blind money is not yours, it is the pots. You have no right to it so please stop defending it will garbage hands. On the other hand, play your blind on blind confrontations aggressively. I always raise the other blind whenever we are in a heads up confrontation. I win my fair share of blinds both pre and post flop.

  4. Extract money from the calling stations on the turn and river. You know they are chasing that flush or open ended draw. So make sure and bet enough to let them hang their self. Sure they will hit their draws every now and then, but you might as well extract as much as you can when they are drawing. Plus, when they miss you can always let them bluff and then hammer them with the nuts.

These the main reasons you do not know how to win at online poker. Change the way you play or sharks like me will be taking your money at the poker tables.
